While at The Forest Camp, we took control of six all-terrain vehicles [ATV’s] for some adventure trailing. Since I am the biggest dumb when it comes to any driven mode of transport, I had Jonathan Alerre [ Antulang’s PADI dive instructor ] drive me for the trail up to the Japanese Shrine in the dormant Mount Talinis.
The 30-minute ATV-ride to the Shrine was an exhilarating experience in itself. We traversed rough terrains passing through a serene montage of quaint little villages, rolling hills covered with lush and verdant foliage, volcanic rock formations, and a grey sky above which made the trailing easier and a bit cooler.
Apart from the Shrine, a magnificent view of Dumaguete’s coastline and the sea beyond awaits visitors.

ATV [ All-Terrain Vehicle ] trailing to Casaroro Falls, Japanese Shrine, and Mount Talinis is one of the services available at The Forest Camp.

Hola Mike,
Just checking out your site to see what you are up to. Glad to see you are having a great time back home. I have been inspired by some of your pics and articles, to consider the Philippines as my next holiday desitnation. A place that many Australians dont really know much about, but with such a rich and vibrant culture. I am totally interested in the food blogs, and have tried several of your recipes, and have gone as far as buying a philipino cookbook in our local Borders store. Hasta Pronto…Linda
